Born in a family of artists and creative people in Spain, Oriol Royo Obregon always had a passion for design, nature, and art. Oriol’s designs reflect his experience growing up enjoying al fresco gatherings on the Mediterranean Coast.

His designs create unique and refined spaces that are made to enjoy, connect, and experience the art of outdoor living.

With a previous background in Sustainable Design and after studying in Barcelona and the Bay Area, he founded his design firm in San Francisco. Royo Design Studio mixes aesthetics, ecology, and design to create unique landscapes tailored to each client and in harmony with each particular location.

Currently, Oriol is working on projects across the Bay Area and the wine country, arid projects in inland California and Baja California, and tropical projects in other parts of Mexico.
